Cookie and browser-storage notice

1. What this notice covers

This notice accompanies the Privacy notice and covers cookies and similar browser storage on the Charming Views company website. A cookie is a small value your browser sends back with requests to the relevant site. Local storage is separate browser storage and is not sent with every request in the same way.

The inventory below describes the reviewed implementation as input to public-launch drafting. It is not a completed scan of the future production deployment.

2. Draft cookie and browser-storage inventory

session_id

First-party session cookie. Supports website session continuity and form/security functions. The reviewed browser received a seven-day maximum age; the launch session settings must be checked.

frontend_lang

First-party language preference cookie. The reviewed local response gives it a one-year expiry.

tz

First-party time-zone cookie set by the website. The reviewed version is a browser-session cookie.

website_cookies_bar

First-party cookie recording required/optional choices and a timestamp. Set after an explicit accept/reject choice. The reviewed native configuration uses 999 days; the launch renewal period requires approval.

odoo_utm_source, odoo_utm_medium, odoo_utm_campaign

Optional first-party campaign attribution, storing campaign-tag values from a tagged link. Observed after accepting optional cookies; native code uses up to 31 days. These can be set even when no external analytics tag is active.

cv-theme (localStorage)

Functional light/dark theme choice. Kept until replaced or cleared by the browser/user; it has no automatic expiry in the reviewed code.

presence.focus and presence.lastPresence (localStorage)

Native interface state for tab focus and recent activity. Created by interaction with the page; the reviewed storage has no automatic expiry. It is not a cookie.

3. Fonts and other external requests

The reviewed page requests a stylesheet from fonts.googleapis.com and a font from fonts.gstatic.com. These requests occurred in a fresh browser before a cookie choice. They are external resource requests, not entries in the first-party cookie list. They expose network request information to the resource provider. Confirm whether public launch keeps these requests or serves font files from the website’s own origin.

No third-party advertising or analytics tag was identified in this bounded review. That finding does not rule out additional technologies on unreviewed pages or in future production settings.

4. Your choices

The reviewed banner offers “Reject optional” and “Accept optional.” Rejection leaves required website functions available and does not authorize optional campaign cookies. Acceptance can allow the optional campaign attribution described above. The choice does not accept a customer services contract.

You can clear cookies and site data for the website through your browser settings and then reload to be asked again. Clearing all site data also removes stored theme preferences and may end a session. Blocking essential cookies can affect forms or session functions.

Before publication, confirm the actual launch method for reopening settings and withdrawing a choice, and whether changing a choice removes previously set optional values. Reading this notice does not change your cookie or browser-storage preferences.

5. Updates

We will revise the notice when the relevant technologies or purposes change, and obtain any consent required before enabling a new optional purpose. The approved notice will show its effective date.
