Privacy notice

1. Scope

This notice covers the Charming Views company website intended for charmingviews.com, its business inquiry form, and communications about those inquiries. It explains information we obtain, why we use it, how we disclose and retain it, and how to contact us.

It does not govern the separate BuzzForUs event website or mobile app, a municipality’s website, or data processed under a customer services agreement. A government or organization operating its own service is responsible for its own notices and decisions about personal information. A shared company name or support address does not make those services part of this website.

2. Information you provide

The inquiry form asks for your name, work email address, organization, topic, and message. You may also provide a phone number and preferred meeting time. We receive correspondence and the contact details you choose to provide when you email or write to us.

We use this information to understand your inquiry, communicate with you, and discuss a potential business relationship. A preferred meeting time is a request, not a confirmed booking.

Please do not submit resident records, government identification numbers, payment-card details, health information, credentials, or other confidential or sensitive information through the general inquiry form. It is not a secure channel for a municipality’s operational records. The current form does not accept attachments.

3. Technical information and preferences

Website requests provide technical information such as an IP address, browser and device information, requested page or resource, request time, and response or error information. We use the information available in our systems to deliver pages, keep sessions and forms working, investigate errors, and prevent abuse. The final logging inventory and retention settings must match the published notice.

The site uses first-party cookies and browser storage for sessions, language, time zone, theme, and cookie choices. Native browser storage may also record tab-focus or last-interaction state for interface operation. Campaign-tagged links can result in optional first-party campaign-attribution cookies after optional cookies are accepted. See the Cookie and browser-storage notice for the inventory and choices.

The reviewed implementation loads fonts from Google’s font servers. If this remains in the public launch, your browser connects to Google to obtain those resources and transmits network request information, including your IP address and browser request headers. Loading a font is distinct from an advertising or analytics tag.

4. How we use information

• Receive, organize, and answer business, support, accessibility, privacy, and rights inquiries.
• Arrange requested discussions and provide information about our services.
• Deliver website content and remember functional preferences.
• Diagnose technical problems, detect spam and duplicate submissions, and protect the website.
• Understand campaign sources where that optional attribution is enabled and accepted.
• Meet applicable legal obligations and handle legal or rights requests.

Submitting an inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing. Any separate promotional program needs its own verified disclosures and choice mechanism.

5. Recipients and service providers

Authorized personnel may access inquiry information to handle your request. Information may also be processed by providers supporting website hosting, storage, email, delivery of resources, and security, to the extent those services are used. We may disclose relevant information when required by law or when legally permitted and necessary to address a rights or security matter.

6. Analytics, advertising, and browser privacy signals

No third-party advertising or analytics tag was identified in the reviewed company-site configuration. Optional first-party campaign attribution and external font requests still require the disclosures described above.

7. Retention

The following schedule is proposed for the public launch based on the owner’s existing local retention policy. It must be confirmed across production systems before this notice becomes effective.

Website inquiry records

90 days from submission, followed by the scheduled deletion process.

Notification copies and operational application logs

90 days, subject to the actual provider and rotation configuration.

Managed backups

30 days under the proposed backup lifecycle.

Separate business correspondence, customer agreements, accounting records, and legal or rights cases need their own applicable retention schedule; the inquiry-record schedule does not establish one for those records.

8. Requests and choices

To ask what inquiry information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email a Charming Views privacy request to support@buzzforus.com, or write to the address below. Identify the relevant inquiry and provide enough information for us to find it. Do not send identity documents with an initial request.

Depending on applicable law and the information involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of information, or object to or restrict certain uses. We may request proportionate verification or evidence of authorization. We will assess requests and any applicable exceptions under the law that applies. This notice does not impose an arbitrary fee or a fixed response period.

For information you provided to a municipality or another organization through its own service, contact that organization first. We can help route a request concerning a service we support, as appropriate to our role.

9. Children’s information

This is a business website for government and organizational audiences. It is not designed to solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information through it, contact us so we can assess and address the matter. This statement does not impose an age gate on ordinary public browsing.

10. Processing locations and security

Accessing a service may involve processing in a country where a relevant provider or authorized staff member operates. The launch locations and any required safeguards remain to be confirmed under review item R2; this draft does not promise that all data stays in one country.

We limit use of inquiry information to the purposes described here and apply access and technical measures appropriate to the website’s operation. The production measures must be verified before publication. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure; this is not a waiver of rights you may have under law.

11. Changes to this notice

When this notice is approved for publication, it will show its effective date. Material changes in data practices will be reflected in a revised notice and accompanied by any notice or consent required by applicable law. Reading this notice or continuing to browse does not itself consent to a new use of personal information.
