Website terms and acceptable use
Charming Views is a business brand of BuzzForUs, LLC. References in this document to “Charming Views,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean BuzzForUs, LLC, doing business as Charming Views; Charming Views is not a separate legal entity.
1. Company website and separate services
These Website Terms describe the intended use of the Charming Views company website, its information, and its inquiry channel. The website presents services for governments and other organizations. It is a commercial provider’s site, not an official government portal.
Municipal deployments, hosted customer systems, resident transactions, the BuzzForUs event service, and other products have separate scopes and may have separate agreements and notices. These Website Terms do not amend a signed customer agreement.
3. Acceptable use
You may use normal public browsing and accessibility features, follow resource links, and submit genuine inquiries. When using the site, do not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to restricted areas, accounts, data, or systems, or bypass security controls.
- Disrupt the website, overload its services, or interfere with another person’s access.
- Submit malware, unlawful material, spam, deceptive messages, or material you have no right to provide.
- Impersonate a person or organization, or disclose another person’s sensitive or confidential information without authority.
- Use the inquiry channel as a bulk messaging service or an open relay.
Ordinary assistive technology and standard public search indexing are not prohibited merely because they use automated tools. This document grants no permission to access restricted systems or conduct unauthorized security testing.
4. Inquiries and communications
Provide accurate contact information and enough detail to explain your request. Do not include credentials, protected resident data, regulated records, or confidential material requiring an agreed secure process. The inquiry form does not accept attachments.
You retain any rights you have in material you send. Sending an inquiry authorizes handling it as described in the Privacy notice; it does not transfer ownership of your ideas or grant us a broad license to publish your message.
A successful receipt message confirms receipt only. If the site cannot confirm receipt, the result may be uncertain; it does not mean a meeting was booked or a contract was formed. You may email our support contact to ask about your inquiry. Sending an inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing.
5. Website content and third-party rights
Company materials, third-party materials, open-source software, and linked official resources may have different owners and license terms. Respect the notices and permissions applying to each. Contact us about republication or commercial reuse unless the use is already permitted by law or an applicable license. Linking to a public page is different from republishing its text or artwork.
No provision here removes rights that applicable law or an existing license gives you. See the Copyright and DMCA reporting notice to report a rights concern.
6. External resources
Links to official guidance and other organizations are provided for context. The linked operator controls its content and data practices. A link does not by itself establish an endorsement, partnership, certification, or guarantee. Verify current requirements with the appropriate authority and review an external service’s terms before sending it information.
8. Website updates and legal rights
We may update website information as services and operations change. The applicable effective date will appear on an approved version of these terms. A change in web copy does not rewrite a signed services agreement or itself establish consent to a new data practice.
Nothing in these Website Terms excludes or restricts a right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
